KiaDohc 2 Turbo

This is KiaDohc’s first Kia Pride with a Mazda B6 DOHC engine – Mazda’s 1st generation of DOHC. It runs 16.0 flat 1/4 mile. The engine is similar to the Mazda Miata B6 engine and the B6T. This beauty is named as “KiaWhite.”

The images below is how KiaWhite looks like before. It was during the time when Libis was the grounds for drag racing. I used my brothers business name “OTTIMO” on both sides of the front door to make it look like a company car. It was also known as “Kia na puti na bulok” hehehe.

Known for others during Libis times, this is KiaDohc’s 2nd engine swap and the engine that started the identity of KIADOHC as KIADOHC at Mazdatech Phils.

         

With converted headlights:

This is the B6 DOHC, using a Mazda B5 DOHC ECU, MAF type sensor and other EFI components. Revlimiter is at 6,500RPM only (but it definitely makes good runs!)
